El Otra Cabo.
So yes - after an evening of Girls Gone Mild, Grandma (you will just have to trust me) - we woke up refreshed and by 9:30 were on the shuttle to go to Cabo San Lucas for a day of shopping and site seeing. It's about a 20 minute drive from Cabo San Jose to Cabo San Lucas and we rode in a very pleasant conversion van. It was probably about the only 20 minutes of peace we were going to get all day, although we didn't realize it yet.
It's amazing how different the place looks in the daylight. There is one place that is almost certainly the last bar we visited on the Night Crawl, but the tables are moved and the outside seating is now a place to park 2 or 3 cars. So I can't be certain but I think... maybe...
The second we are out of the shuttle, we are pretty much overwhelmed again by people talking to us, trying to convince us to do this excursion or that excursion. Some of them are pushy enough to say that the offer will expire in 30 minutes. What's the problem you ask? Almost all of the offers seem to come with the 90 minute timeshare presentation. So annoying! One of the guys commented on my tan and asked what I did in the US. I lied - not on purpose, but it just seemed easier. Apparently in the US, I mow lawns and clean pools. It's true to a degree - I mow a lawn and I clean a pool.
Anyways, we do some shopping and then decide to take a water taxi to the Arch. The sea was angry that day my friends. The awkwardness of just getting a water taxi was almost enough to send both of us back to the hotel for more mildness, but we hung in there and got one. The ocean was too choppy for him to stop at the beaches, but he did give us bread and let us feed the fish, which he said were piranhas. He was a funny man who taught us that the pelicans are called Mexican Turkeys. And everytime we would go through some rough waters LJ and I would scream and he would say "No problem, girls. No problem!" Anyway as rough as it was our pictures from that excursion came out pretty well anyways.
After the taxi we decided drinks and stuff! Back to Cabo Wabo for some souvenirs and a marga. Then on to the Giggling Marlin. A couple of 'forced' jello-shots and then we talked to the waiter about how to go upside down. He said "$10 - 3 kamikazee shots". Well we really didn't want to do any Kamikazee shots so I guess we looked at each other and waffled long enough that he said... "$10 - 4 shots". Well that's just a good value. So upside down we went and our shots we did take. Those pictures are soo funny. Everyone in the bar was looking at us. It was a delight!
Not long after that, it was back to the Resort...once again a little tipsy. We hung out by the pool until about dinner time, then upstairs to change. Somewhere in that exchange, we took a nap. A bad nap! I woke up starving and nauseas. Once again, a panicked dinner buffet, then asleep by 9:30! :)

The best part about hanging upside down was that all those people took pictures of us - we are in random people's Cabo photo albums!
And I still swear that was the same bar, even though there were cars parked in it in the daylight...maybe...could be...
