Day 1: Part 2

So where were we... oh, yes. After dinner we got ready for our party night. We had prepaid for a Night Crawl excursion. Basically Andres picks us up at 9 and drives us to the other Cabo, Cabo San Lucas, where the bars are and we party until he picks us up. Great times ensue. He picks us up and warns us about druggies trying to sell us drugs. Luckily, LJ and I don't need any encouragement to avoid drugs at our age. If we had been tempted, his warning would've worked. By this time we are both tired and a little overwhelmed and thinking that we would call it an early night, ask him to pick us up at midnight. He drops us off at the world famous Cabo Wabo. Which is also the name of a good tequila. So we start here with a couple of the strongest Margaritas ever. We are surveying the crowd and are a bit surprised at the number of older people. Cougars are everywhere. I mean not like 80 year olds, but 50 and 60 year olds definitely. We are starting to think that we've made a good decision to leave early when a group of good looking guys across the bar catch our eye. This is where the title "We are not the Queens of Subtlety" occurs. Through body language, or age deduction, we end up hanging out with these boys. They are throwing a bachelor party for the cutest boy in the bunch. :) Oh, well. Silliness and dancing occurs, including visits to a bar called The Zoo, where the host is a gorilla, and Squid Roe which is just craziness. We missed our 'curfew' and had to grab a taxi home. Here is a bit of worry. We have $34 on us. We have been told the trip to Cabo san Jose from Cabo San Lucas will be about $35. We whisper and decide that if we need more money, one of will run to the room (Laura) and the other will sit and wait with the cabbie (Cassie). Luckily when we get there, the total is $32... talk about luck! When we walk in to the lobby, the bellboys and concierges are amused that we stayed out so late and yell to us "How was the party, girls?" All we can do is smile. :) On to day 2!
