I created this recipe!

Cassie’s Italian Pasta Salad:

Handful of Bowtie Pasta
1 Tomato
Pesto
Parmesan cheese
Olives
Ricotta cheese

Cook the pasta. Meanwhile cut the tomato into bite-size pieces. Put the tomato and some parmesan cheese in the bottom of the bowl. Drain the pasta and put on top of the tomatoes. Add enough pesto to coat the pasta and tomatoes. Top with olives and 2 dollops of ricotta. Yum yum yum! Serves one, perfectly!

That sounds sooooo good. When we get together you have to make it for me!

Chee and doughnuts also sound amazingly good right now. Maybe chee-filled doughnuts. I'm dying of hunger. If I die, tell the doctor to look at my stomach.

Love you!

Helpful hint from Cassie August 1st, 2003...
Cooks - Don't throw out all that leftover wine. Freeze into ice cubes for future use in casseroles and sauces.

Cassie - Leftover wine??

Wow- I don't remember giving that hint, but that was clearly before I knew that "leftover wine" is a legend and a myth.
